Review
I'm conflicted. I've read books by this author that I truly love, but this book was really confusing. The storyline about NYC seemed unrealistic. Not necessarily the flooding, but the non revitalization of one of the biggest (Most Valuable) cities in the US was left to rot?
The characters just didn't pull me in emotionally. I found Cade, for the most part, unlikable. The sequence of events were more confusing, and the flashbacks which moved the story along were buried halfway through the book
