Review
The first book (Slide) left me shattered. An emotional, blubbering mess of a girl. So, after purchasing "Rare" I left it sitting on my "to be read" pile. I could almost hear it mocking me from my kindle, but I wanted to be in the right frame of mind when I dove in.
Also, I needed a new box of Kleenex.
I don't want to give the storyline away, but WOW. Five Stars.
This story just goes straight for the jugular. It's gripping, an tragic, complex, and wonderful.
